Critical and divergent thinking can help them form their own views, explore alternatives and explain the reasoning behind their ideas.
Music and the arts remain integral to our purpose. Creative expression gives young people ways to interpret their experiences, develop an individual voice and share something of their own.
We see the arts as an important part of developing thoughtful, imaginative people.
Entrepreneurship gives young people opportunities to turn ideas into practical projects. It invites them to make choices, work with others, test assumptions and learn from what happens.
We want to encourage the initiative and confidence to begin, alongside the judgment to reflect and improve.
Young people have perspectives worth hearing. Our direction includes creating opportunities for them to develop their ideas, participate in discussion and contribute to their communities.
Thought leadership begins with having something considered to say and the opportunity to say it.
The Foundation’s arts and music work provides a foundation for this broader direction. We will carry that commitment forward as we develop opportunities across thinking, creativity and enterprise.
